About The Event
This is an opportunity to walk one of the most historic trails of the Sahyadris — the ancient Radtondi Ghat route through the legendary forests of Javali. In this journey, we will not just walk, but learn about the history of this route, the strategic importance of Javali, and the Pratapgad battle. We will discuss these events at the very locations where history unfolded, making it a truly immersive Storytelling Experience.

Night Departure (Pune → Trek Area)
- •Departure from Pune pickup points (Sadashiv Peth, Deccan Gymkhana, Garware Metro Station, Nal Stop Metro, Rajaram Bridge, Navale Bridge, New Katraj Tunnel) in a comfortable Non-AC private vehicle.
- •Overnight journey towards Mahabaleshwar region.
Trek & Historical Study
- •Reach near Radtondi Ghat base.
- •Freshen up & Trek Briefing.
- •Begin Trek Through Historic Radtondi Ghat. The trek unfolds through misty forests of Javali Valley, blending monsoon beauty with Shivkalin history.
- •Reach and Explore the Historic Shivkalin Bridge.
- •Breakfast at Paar Village.
- •Visit the revered Shri Ramvardayini Temple.
- •Trek Towards Pratapgad Fort.
- •Reach Pratapgad Fort & Fort Exploration, including historic fortifications, bastions, Mahadarwaja, strategic viewpoints, temples, and historical sites associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Afzal Khan.
- •Traditional Vegetarian Lunch.
