Adani Ahmedabad Marathon

Launched in 2017 by the Adani Group, the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon marks a landmark 10th edition on 29 November 2026, carrying forward its enduring #Run4OurSoldiers theme in honour of the courage and sacrifice of India's Armed Forces. The AIMS-certified course runs along the Sabarmati Riverfront, one of India's most celebrated urban developments, offering a flat, fast route at just 53 metres above sea level with virtually no elevation change, flanked by the river on one side and the historic city on the other. Four categories cater to every level, the full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, and 5km, with runners competing across Armed Forces, Open, and Local categories, and over 1,500 defence personnel from the Army, Navy, and Air Force joining civilian runners on the same start line. Drawing more than 24,000 participants in recent editions, the race has grown into Gujarat's biggest road race and one of India's fastest-growing marathons. Beyond the finish line, runners can extend their trip to explore Gujarat's cultural landmarks, including the Sabarmati Ashram and the historic Pols of Ahmedabad's old city.
