Cognizant New Delhi Marathon

Marking its 12th edition, the Cognizant New Delhi Marathon returns on 21 February 2027, welcoming thousands of athletes from over 30 countries and nearly every Indian state to a world-class course through the heart of the nation's capital. Four categories cater to every level: the full 42.195km Marathon (18+, 6-hour cutoff), the 21.095km Half Marathon (18+, 3.5-hour cutoff), a 10km Speed Run (14+, 90-minute cutoff), and the family-friendly 5km Fun Run (6+, 1-hour cutoff), all starting at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Runners registering at least 15 days ahead of race day can secure a personalised bib with their name printed on it, and every finisher across all four categories receives a medal along with a downloadable timing certificate. Organised by NEB Sports, the event enforces strict race-day rules, no wheeled vehicles, pets, or unregistered pacers on course, with bib expo held the day before since no bib distribution happens on race day itself. As India's self-styled "National Marathon," the event has built a reputation as one of the country's most prestigious and internationally recognised road races.
