**Achala & Ahivant:** Neighboring forts\! Ahivant boasts a wider plateau, but exploring Achala takes nearly a full day. **Caves & Stay:** A cave to the south is suitable for an overnight stay. The north-east cave is not. **Water Source:** A water tank is just 10 mins from the suitable cave. **Dare Village Route:** Coming from Dare village, find two devastated entrance structures. Nearby are remnants of old palaces, indicating a strong defense base. **Key Finds:** Expect to see Shivling scattered across the site, many caves along the path, and 2-3 lakes on the fort. Don't miss the temple with a statue resembling Saptshrungi\!

**Ways to Reach Ahivant Fort** **Option 1: Via Nashik**1. Go from Nashik to Vani. 2. Follow Nanduri road from Vani (offers a good Ahivant fort view). 3. 1 km before Vani Nanduri road, take the left path. 4. Reach fort foothills in 1 hour. 5. Climb the valley to Dare village. 6. Reach the fort from Dare in 1 hour.**Option 2: Via Pimpripada-Achala (Longer Route)**1. Reach Pimpripada from Vani (via Pimpriachala route). 2. From Pimpripada temple: * Right route: Bellwadi village (30 mins). Reach Ahivant fort from Bellwadi in 2 hours. * Left route: Achala Fort.
