Dubergad (Dubera): A Royal Watchtower Located in Dubera village near Sinnar (Nashik district), the fort was likely a watchtower for Sinnar, the first capital of the Yadav Dynasty. Historical significance: Dubera is the birthplace of the first Bajirao Peshwa. See the nearby Barve Wada. Nearby Forts: Aad Aundh and Patta Forts are on the opposite side of Dubera from Sinnar. Plan your trip: You can cover Dubera, Aad, Patta, Bitangad, and Aundh in a two-day private vehicle tour. Current Status: Monument is in bad condition.

Fort Highlights: * **Base:** Janardan Swami Aashram & Nageshwar Temple. * **Access:** Tar road connects Dubera Village to the Aashram (30 min walk). * **Ascent:** Stairs from Aashram to fort top (20 min climb). * **Features:** Two rock-carved water tanks (at the top of the stairs, right side), Saptashrungi Mata Temple, and a large dry water lake (opposite the temple, end of the fort). * **Plateau:** Large, but no other monuments. * **Views:** See area up to Sinnar, Mhalungi River, and Aundha Fort.

How to Reach
Get there fast! Sinnar is the nearest city, offering hourly S.T. bus service. Private jeeps are also available from Sinnar to Dubera and Sinnar to Thangaon. From Mumbai (180 Km to Dubera), take the Mumbai-Nashik Highway to Ghoti. Then, follow the Ghoti-Sinnar road to Harsul village, where a road leads directly to Dubera fort.
