Explore the Ajanta Satmaal Range! Part of the Sahyadri mountains, this range runs from Surgana (Nasik) to Chandvad. Don't miss the four key forts in Chandvad taluka: Rajdher, Indrai, Koldher, and Chandvad Fort. Indrai Fort is part of the Ajintha Satmal Hill Range.

**Fort Highlights:** **The Ascent:** Two paths lead to the final summit base, where you'll find 2 caves and a water tank. Prepare for \~150 rock-cut steps to the top\! **Summit Features:** After the steps, look for the entrance remnants and a stone inscription on the left. **Explore the Top:** The mountaintop is extensive. Head left after the entrance for three routes: * **Right:** Leads to a few rock-cut caves. * **Middle:** Takes you to the temple of Lord Shiva. * **Left:** Reveals 18-20 caves (some suitable for staying) and a water cistern.**Views:** From the top, spot the forts of Rajdher, Chandvad, Koldher, Dhodap, and Ikhara\!

Via Wadbare** * Start at Chandvad village for Indrai. * Bus from Chandvad to Rajdherwadi. * Get off at Wadbare village (6 km from Chandvad). * Trek Time: \~3 hours to the top. (Joins the Rajdherwadi route.)**2. Via Rajdherwadi** * Bus from Chandvad to Rajdherwadi village. * Trek Time: \~2 hours to the top.
