Explore the Fort's Fascinating Spots! The fort has two main sections: **Citadel** and **Summit**. Near the devastated entrance gate: * **Left:** Rock-cut caves (some suitable for staying). * **Right:** Sculpted tiger on a rock.Past the entrance: * The **fortification wall** is still intact. * **Bastions** are visible after a short climb to the right.Path to the Summit: * Follow the path beneath the main gate. * After 20-25 steps left, find **rock-cut water tanks** (water is potable but stinks slightly). * More water tanks ahead; the **Citadel Summit** area begins shortly after.The Summit/Citadel: * Protected by a fortified wall with carvings. * Elevated surface with **built-in caves**. * Climb the elevation to find the **ammunition storage facility**, a **trench**, and two **water tanks** behind it.Lalita Mata Temple Area: * Open space opposite the **Goddess Lalita Mata temple**. * **Rock-cut caves** are behind the temple.Secret Doorway: * A path enters a narrow structure—a **secret doorway** to the Summit. * While descending from the doorway, find a **rock-cut water tank**.Return Path: * The path turns right, revealing a **devastated temple of a Goddess**. * Opposite this temple, another path leads to the Summit.Summit Features (2nd location): * A huge **pond**. * A **dome-shaped structure** below which are two **water tanks**. * Parts of the **fortification wall** are visible here. * Keep the pond on your right and ascend back to the entrance gate.

How to Reach
Laling Fort is just 8 km from Dhule (on Dhule-Laling road). The Mumbai-Agra highway runs parallel. Nearby: Songir Fort. Reach Laling base village via regular buses from Dhule toward Malegaon. Ascent starts behind the old black rock temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva) at the water tank. Follow the easy path parallel to the Mumbai-Agra highway. Keep the fort to your right during the ascend; this path leads to the devastated entrance gate, keeping the fort wall on your right.
