Khairai Fort: Maharashtra's Hidden Gem! Location: Peth tehsil, Nasik district, Maharashtra (near Maharashtra-Gujarat border). Access: 65 km from Nashik via the Nashik-Harsul-Thanapada-Khairaipali route. Routes:1. Start from Khairai village, keeping bastions in front. Reach a small hill in 45 mins, then ascend via a broken ridge. 2. Easier Path: Keep the bastion and fort summit to your right, circumvent the hill to the west side. Features: Intact fortification wall in many places. Find water tanks and two canons near the ruins of a temple.
