About Ramtek
Ramtek Fort, located about 50 km from Nagpur, is an 18th-century hilltop fort complex in Maharashtra, famously associated with Lord Rama’s exile and the poet Kalidasa. The site features the historic "Gad Mandir" (temple) dedicated to Rama, built by the Maratha ruler Raghuji Bhosle, alongside several other temples and scenic views.
