Start your fort journey at Dajipur Sanctuary (Rs. 20 entry fee). An unpaved road leads past the forest rest house to Gagangiri Maharaj's Ashram. From the Ashram, walk 30 mins to a plateau. Descend, traverse a small hill, then follow a short uphill trail to the fort's intact fortifications. Enter via the northwest door, featuring double-walled defenses and a right-side bastion. See the beautiful Sati stone, locally known as Ugvai Devi. **Views & Routes:** * North Bastion: Kurli Dam view. * South Bastion: Connects to routes from Gadge Sakhal village (Konkan) and Fonda village.**Fort Remains:** Very few remains aside from the above. **Water & Sanctuary:** * Return journey: Spot a waterfall patch and a built-in water tank, fed by a trench from the fall. Note: No other water management facility exists. * East View: See the temple crown at Jhanjeche Paani, reachable via a 20-min unpaved jungle road from the small hill. Saint Gagangiri Maharaj is believed to have meditated here. * Jhanjeche Paani: A perennial rivulet flows here, past some houses behind the temple.Total Time: 30 mins from Jhanjeche Paani back to the sanctuary entrance.
