Ghangad Fort: West of Mulshi River (Korbarase Maval). Surrounded by Korigad, Telbaila, and Sudhagad, yet uniquely isolated.

History & Significance
Limited historical documentation exists. Fact: The fort was held by Koli Samant, then Adilshah, and later the Marathas.
Places to See
Access the fort via the path to the left. Enter through the ruined main gate to find remnants of old palaces and water tanks (poor condition). Amazing views include Sudhagad, Sarasgad, and the wall of Tailbaila. Look down to Konkan via Nandand Ghat, Savvashincha Ghat, and Bhorpaychi Nal.

30 mins from Ekola Village to the fort.
How to Reach
Only one route from Ekole village leads to the fort!1. Start at Lonavla. 2. Take a bus to Bhaburde village (40 km). 3. Walk 20 min to Ekole village. **Landmark:** On the way, see the Goddess Garjai temple. out the Shilalekh inside: "Shree Garaai Maharajachi and Kille Ghangadachi." The path continues left of the temple. You'll reach a steep patch (15 steps). **Tip:** Carry a long rope for the final climb directly to the fort\!
