Kalsubai Range: Sahyadri's North-South stretch, turning east from Igatpuri towards Thal Ghat. It splits into two parts: Alang, Madan, Kulang, & Kalsubai; and to the east: Aundh, Patta, Bitangad, Aad, & Mhasoba mountain.

Maratha Rule until 1688! The fort then fell to the Mughals, who appointed Sardar Shyamsingh as chief.

How to Reach
Getting There **Start:** Go to Igatpuri (via Mumbai). **Bus:** Take the 7 a.m. bus from Igatpuri station to Bhagur. **Get Off:** Kadva Colony Naka (approx. 1.5 hours). **Next:** Continue from Kadva Colony to Kadva Dam. **Village Access:** Reach Ninavi village after 45 minutes. **Fort Ascent (From Ninavi):**1. **Challenging Route:** Follow the ridge ahead (Tiring\!). 2. **Easier Route:** Go past the Hanuman Temple (Longer, but not tedious). This route takes 45 mins to reach the Plateau.**Final Push:** From the Plateau, it's 30 mins to the fort steps. Some rock-climbing is required to reach the top.Trekking Circuit Many trekkers combine **Aundh-Patta-Bitangad**. To go from Aundh to Patta, return to the plateau and head toward the flag. **Ninavi to Aundh (via Patta):** 2 hours.
