Explore the Fort's Highlights: * Temple of Goddess 'Kurdai' near the base. * Gateway remnants on the way up. * See the 1m Hanuman idol after entering the gateway. * Discover the natural 'ghal' (groove) behind the idol (fits 100-150 people\!). * The fort has 2 large pinnacles; one is the Fort top. (Path around pinnacle is damaged in spots). * Look for 1-2 water tanks. * Fort top offers excellent views of the region. * Strategically significant location (Kurdugad) controls Tamhani ghat pass. * Raigad and Kokandiva forts are located on the backside. * Fort top exploration time: \~30 minutes.

How to Reach
Ways to Reach the Fort Approachable from Pune & Mumbai!1. From Pune: * Route via Tamhani ghat towards Konkan. * Approach from Tamhani ghat via Dhamanwal to the plateau. * Alternatively, from Jite: Follow water stream, turn left at the rock patch/idol, go through a farm (5 min walk to start climb). * This strenuous route leads to the Pethwadi community (1.5 hours from Jite). * In Pethwadi (has Kurdai temple & water tank), the fort trail starts right of the temple (30 min climb). * Also reachable from Dhamanwadi.2. From Mumbai: * Reach Mangoan via Konkan railway or ST bus. * Take a bus to Jite (base village). * Follow the same route as 'From Jite' above.
