**Bhairavgad Fort Ascent & Sights** **Getting There:** From Kotul village, head 0.5 km before Kothale (or next to Kothale when coming from Rajur). Follow the route to Tolarkhind (signboards: Harishchandragad Kalsubai Sanctuary & Tolarkhind). **The Climb:** 2-minute walk to a field path. Look for the Goddess Gavaldevi sculpture on the left. The route then enters a thick forest with a steep 20-minute ascend to the rock-cut steps. **Trail Features:** * **Rock-Cut Steps:** Water tank nearby (left). * **Ladder 1:** Installed by the Forest Dept. Leads to another water tank (left). * **Water Tanks:** Further ahead: a pillared tank and a dried tank with two benches installed by the Forest Dept. * **Ladder 2:** 40 steps leading to the fort summit.**Fort Summit (30 min visit):** * **Lord Bhairav:** Located north on the right upon entry. See sculptures, Veerghals, two rock-cut water tanks, and two lamp posts. Railings allow views of Harishchandragad fort, Taramati peak, and Vetaldhar. * **Gadhavacha Dongar:** Head south. This mountain, taller than Bhairavgad, is believed to be the Donkey pulling Lord Bhairav's Chariot.
