Challenge accepted! Alang, Madan, and Kulang are Nasik District's toughest forts, located in the Kalasubai range. Expect difficult treks due to dense forests, low population, heavy rain, and confusing trails. These forts are often neglected.

How to Reach
Alang Fort Access: Multiple Routes1. Via Ambevadi (Igatpuri/Kasara-Ghoti-Pimpalnermor): * **Starting Point:** Kasara or Igatpuri, then Ambevadi. * **Ghoti to Ambevadi:** 32 km. Bus available (6 a.m. departure). * **View:** Alang, Madan, Kulang visible from Ambevadi. * **Ambevadi to Ridge (Alang/Madan):** \~3 hours (hectic route). * **From Ridge (Alang on Left, Madan on Right):** * **Route A (Cavern Route):** Descend from ridge (1 hr) to plateau. Keep Alang left. 1 hr walk to a cavern. Requires rock climbing. Reach fort cave in \~8-9 hours total from Ambevadi. * **Route B (Steps/Pinnacle):** Easy rock climbing, ascend steps. Climb broken 80-90' pinnacle (Trained climbers only). Reach fort in \~6 hours total.2. Via Ghatghar (Ghoti-Bhandardara): * Reach Ghatghar via Ghoti-Bhandardara. * Reach the third cavern in 2.5 hours.3. Via Udadvade (Bhandardara): * Starts at Udadvade gaon via Bhandardara. * Connects to Route 2 at the plateau.
