Places to See
Start your 30-min climb to the Fort Entrance, hidden between two large bastions. **Entrance Highlights:** Look for Pipal leaf and Lotus carvings on the entrance porches. Stairs from the porch lead up to a bastion for a watchpoint. **First Pathway:** Descend from the bastion to find a small, recent temple with a vermilion-covered stone and a broken piece of a limestone mixer nearby. **Fortification Wall Walk (Right):** Follow the path to the wall. You'll see 2 semi-circle shaped bastions. The way ahead is blocked, so head back to the porch area. **Pathway Inside:** To the left is a well; to the right, a damaged built-in pond. **Wall Walk Continued:** Proceed along the wall platform, passing three bastions, then a fourth (after steps). To the right of the fourth bastion is a crescent shaped pond with steps. **Structure (Possible Armory):** Next to the crescent pond is the entrance to a potential two-storeyed building. On the second floor, an arched structure (no windows) likely stored arms/ammunitions. Nearby, find a well with steps, topped by an umbrella shaped dome. This area connects to the fortified wall from the fort entrance. **Citadel Path:** Return to the main pathway and head towards the citadel. Spot two semi-circle shaped bastions to the left. The four bastions inside the citadel are square shaped. A room inside the edge bastion allows exit from the bastion and the fort. **Exit Route:** Cross the empty ground. Pass two remaining wall structures (one with carvings). A square shaped bastion marks the end, featuring a secret door and stairs leading out to the path to descend the fort.
