About Ghodbunder Fort
Kalyan (Thane district) was a key ancient harbor. Nagla Bunder and Ghodbunder were other sea route ports, guarded by Nagla Bunder, Ghodbunder, and Gomukh forts. Ghodbunder port, near Ulhas creek, is named because a nearby mountain extension is horse-shaped ("Ghoda" means Horse). Visit Ghodbunder Fort!
