Explore the Fort: Key Spots & Tips First, reach the Machi plateau (nothing much to see here, beware of wild plants). **To the Top:** * Take a right from the Machi. * Pass a beautiful, usable water tank (bring a rope to draw water\!). * Climb stairs with a cliff on your right. * Reach the top in \~15 minutes.**At the Top (Right Side):** * See construction remnants. * Visit the Goddess Temple. * Note 1-2 water tanks are buried due to erosion.**Exploring the Left & Way Down:** * Spot evidence of the extinct curtain wall. * Climb down this side, passing 2-3 water tanks. * Keep an eye out for small pinnacles.**Views & Time:** * Total exploration time: \~1.5 hours. * See Mahalakshmi pinnacle and forts Asheri and Adsul from here.

How to Reach
**Option 1: Via Aslon** From Kalyan/Wada, reach Manor Fata, then get transport to Charoti (on the way to Ahmednagar). At Charoti, take the route leading to Nashik (via Javhar) to reach Kasagoan (2 km away). Aslon is 8 km from Kasagoan. **Option 2: Via Ksagaon (Base Village: Patilwadi)** Reach Bhoisar via Mumbai–Palghar road. Take an ST bus from Bhoisar to Kasagoan. Proceed to Aslon as above. From Aslon, it’s 3 km to Patilwadi (the base village). **Trek from Patilwadi:** Move rightwards (fort on your left). 1.5-hour climb to the plateau. Take a right to approach the fort.
