Instead of joining the heavy traffic on the winding motorable road, adventurers can take the ancient, quiet step-route to the top of Nandi Hills. Starting from Sultanpet village, the trail cuts straight up the hillside through thick greenery and old fort ruins. It is a fantastic, quick fitness trek that rewards you with sweeping views of the plains, historic temples, and the cool, misty air of the summit.
