Start your tour from Dhotri village! Follow the route around a huge bastion to the 12' tall main entrance (North-facing). Find porches and a terrace room inside the entrance wall. The fort features a rectangular open ground with building remnants in one corner. Walls are built using white soil, stone, and bricks, with narrow windows in the bastions. Find the Citadel entrance (East-facing) via the wall on the right. Nearby is a dried-up step well. Explore the four bastions! The South bastion has a spiral stairway offering a complete view of the fort. Descend to find a room with a semi-circle roof built into the wall. Continue towards the West bastion. A small, bushy doorway leads to another rectangular open ground with two corner bastions and a dried-up well nearby.

Get to Dhotri Fort: Route 1: Via Kardehalli Village * From Solapur, drive 19 km on the Solapur-Akkalkot road. * Turn left onto the small road towards Kardehalli. * Dhotri Fort is 14 km from Kardehalli.Route 2: Via Bramhani Village * From Solapur, drive 15 km on the Solapur-Hyderabad highway. * Turn right onto the small road towards Dhotri village (24 km away). * This route passes through Musali-Tandulwadi.
