About Kelve Pankot
Kelve Pankot: Boat-shaped fort south of famous Kelve beach. Built on a rock where Danda creek meets the sea. Accessible only during low tide by foot. Portuguese used this intact fort to watch the creek and sea.

How to Reach
Reach the main crossroad in Kelve village, 8 km from Kelve station (Western Railway). Two key routes: 1) Bhavangad route via Danda creek (Customs Building and Fort are here). 2) Kelve Pankot route through Koliwada (15 min walk to the fort).

**Kelve-Mahim Forts: One-Day Itinerary** See 6 forts in a day (car or auto-rickshaw required)! Note: Kelve Pankot is accessible ONLY during low tide. **Option 1: Morning Low Tide** * Start with Kelve Pankot, Danda Fort, and Bhavangad. * Lunch break back in Kelve. * Continue to Kelve Fort, Mahim Fort, and Shirgaon Fort. * Return to Palghar station.**Option 2: Evening Low Tide** * Start with Mahim and Shirgaon Forts. * Visit Goddess Mahakavati Temple, Kelve Coastal Fort, and Bhavangad. * Return to Kelve village. * See Kelve Pankot in the evening. * Return to Kelve station.
