Places to See

**Kulang Fort Highlights: Explore the Fort's Wonders** Start at the second, well-preserved entrance (fortification visible). * **Caves & Stay:** To the right, find 2-3 small caves. The middle cave is largest, with 2 rooms—good for staying. * **Water & History:** Near the caves, 2-3 water tanks, one with *potable* water. Behind them, remnants of two large demolished palaces. * **Bastion View:** Head west of the palace to a big bastion. View **Chotya Kulang** (smaller Kulang), **Ghatghar village**, and the **Wilson dam reservoir**.**Eastward Exploration:** * **Cisterns & Shiva:** Return to the entrance and go left (5 mins) to see 10 cisterns (water *not* potable) and a rock-carved **Shiv Linga**. * **Ancient Water System:** Continue straight (20 mins) to a gully with an architectural wonder: a barrier obstructs water flow. Water is stored on the mountain top, channeled to the gully/weir, and flows out a **"Gomukh."** (Constructor unknown). * **Panoramic Vistas:** To the east, spot **Alang, Madan, and Kalsubai**. To the south-west, enjoy the scenic beauty of **Ratangad**.
