How to Reach

**Reaching Mangi-Tungi Peaks** **Base Village:** Bhilwadi (known locally as Mangi-Tungi). **Getting There:** * From Nasik: Reach Taharabad via Satana. * From Gujarat: Reach Taharabad from Neelmora Railway Station via Ahuaa. * From Taharabad: S.T. and bus services available to Bhilwadi.**Bhilwadi Highlights:** Jain temples of Adinath and Parshvanath. **The Trek:** * Starts from Bhilwadi. * 20 min walk to the steps. * Climb \~2000 steps to the Archway.**From the Archway:** * **Left leads to Mangi.** * **Right leads to Tungi.****Mangi Pinnacle (Left):** * Reach caves at the base in \~20 min. * Climbing requires technical expertise/equipment (not very tall). * **Carvings:** 356 carvings (Mahavir, Adinath, Parshvanath, Hanuman, Vali, Sugreeva, etc.) along the base. * **Temple:** Mangigiri Temple. * **Note:** Water is non-potable. * **Time:** Explore and return in 30–45 mins.**Tungi Pinnacle (Right):** * Reach in \~30 min from the Archway. * Taller than Mangi. Climbing requires good rock climbing knowledge. * Can walk around the pinnacle. * **Caves:** 3 caves on the way. * **Temple:** Tungigiri Temple in one cave. * **Carvings:** 99 carvings of Buddha in the caves. * **Time:** Explore and return in \~20 mins. * **Landmark:** Beautiful marble Krishna temple (intricate marble grills) on the route from the Archway.**Total Time:** See both Mangi & Tungi and return to base in 4 hours.

Important Notes

Easy trek, but beware the 2,000 steps—it's a real workout!
