About Premgiri

Premgiri Fort: A Hidden Gem in Nashik Located near Eklahare village (5 km from Kalwan, Nashik district). Premgiri is a small watchtower fort on the Chankapur mountain range, along with Pimpla and Bhilai forts. This range is a gateway route to the larger forts of Salher, Salota, and Mulher in the Selabari-Dolabari mountain range. A must-see: Lord Hanuman temple on the fort. Path is well-paved due to frequent visits by villagers!

Choose your path! **Steep Route:** Leads left after the village, 5-min trail to a water tank. Expect a steep, slippery climb and a final 20-rock patch. **Easy Route:** Well-paved path to the mountain ridge, continuing via rock-cut steps. The wide summit features water tanks and a Lord Hanuman temple. Allow ~30 minutes to explore the fort.
