Rajhansgad (Yellur Fort)

Built first by the Ratt dynasty. Later, commander Asad Khan Lari (under Adilshah) rebuilt it with stone, giving it its current look. This fort saw 3 major battles: 1. Peshwas vs. Nawab of Savnur; 2. Peshwas vs. Tipu Sultan; 3. Bhivgad vs. Rajhansgad armies.

Explore the Fort's Fascinating Spots! * **Entrance:** Gomukhi-style entry. * **Temple:** Dedicated to Lord Siddheshwar, located right inside. * **Water Storage:** Look for the water tank (covered by an iron net, featuring carved arches) to the left of the temple, plus a well and a separate water storage area near the temple. * **Remnants:** Structures near the tank hint at a former arms and ammunition storage area. Ahead, find a structure with a remaining intact basement room. * **Circumnavigation:** Reach the edge to walk around the fort. * **Secret Access:** A secret doorway and stairs are found near the third bastion (after crossing two bastions). * **L-Shape Room:** Keep moving to find an L-shaped room. * **Visit Time:** The entire fort can be explored in 30 minutes.
