Places to See
**Fort Highlights (1.5 hrs to explore):** Start your route from Rasalwadi village. Enter via two doors. Behind the first door, find the Lord Hanuman Temple. Beyond that is the second door, featuring a huge cannon. This fort has about 16 cannons in total—a key feature\! The top is a flat plateau with the recently renovated Goddess Zolai Temple. Inside, find small statues, a Deepmal (oil-lamp structure), and a Tulsi plant. A cannon also lies nearby. Next to the temple is a small, drinkable lake. Behind the Zolai temple is the Lord Shiva Temple. **Citadel Area:** Beyond the Cistern, the hilly citadel area contains remains of castles and ramparts with cannons. Look for a stone-masonry room—likely a food grain storage facility. Two perennial lakes here offer drinkable water. A river flows to the South-West side of the fort.
