Tandulwadi Fort: History Highlights Explore the history of Tandulwadi Fort (571m MSL), located 16km from Kelve Mahim and 4.87km NE of Saphale station. Key Facts: * Captured by Marathas in 1737. * Features: Rock-dug water cisterns, reservoirs, and rampart remains. * Nearby: Vaitarna River to the east; Lalthane village (with a water pond believed to be built by the Portuguese). * Historical Context: Part of King Bhimdev's 13th-century kingdom (Shurparak & Mahikawati).
